In the book "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hossini the following quote "but he's not my friend! I almost blurted. He's my servant!" (page44) This got me thinking that so if someone does something for you are they your friend or are they your servant? How does one really think of those around them? Something else that also got me thinking was when Amir said "I treated Hassan well, just like a friend, better even, more like a brother." That should get everyone thinking can someone be both your friend and your servant or even more than that?
If someone was just to do something out of the blue for you without you asking them to don’t hold it against them because you never know if they will do something like that again. Some people stand up for others and half the time don’t really expect it in return right away but they would hope that you would do the say thing for them. I have been in a spot like that a few times before where I have misunderstood what was going on in that point in time when I was being put down and someone stood up for me. But when I saw them getting picked on I just walked on by because I thought I couldn’t do anything about it. But now I have a different outlook on stuff I feel that if someone does something for me I should do something in return for them. Just like what Hassan’s did for Amir when they were stopped by Assef. Assef was going to fight Amir but Hassan was standing behind him with a slingshot and wasn’t going to let go till Assef made the first move to come closer to them. So if someone is going to stand up for you be a friend and do the same. Also if you were to take someone out to dinner or something and you pay it’s a treat. Don’t make the other person pay for it later on just because you feel it’s the need for them to pay you back. That’s like making them your servant because you either want them to pay you back the money or to do something for you. I have been in something like that before a friend or so I thought took me to dinner and they ended up making me pay for it later they wanted me to pay them back everything they paid. But I thought it was kind of stupid I some how thought of a way to make up the money for what I got that day for dinner and I give it to them and than told them to never talk to me again. I consider most of my friends as brothers or sisters they mean a lot to me and they feel the same way towards me I hope. I would consider anyone who is willing to talk to me about anything and everything and listen to what I have to say it’s a true friend.

“The perils of indifference” and “The Lottery”
1. Never taking a stand for what you believe.
2. “The Lottery” is a very violent story that makes your mind believe that something good will happen when in the end it turns out to be a very bad thing. Its the same thing in the movie called the ruins. In “The Lottery” the women dies in the end and in “The Ruins” all of the travelers die in the end. Also with the ruins it is every time that the people go to the ruins that they die and the in the lottery someone always dies every year from the stoning. In the movie people know what happens when people go but the ruins no one is ever stopped. Although the story lines of both are quick different there are some things thatre the same.
3. In the speech “The Perils of Indifference”, Mr. Wiesel points out that even though people know something is wrong no one wants to stand up and stop what is wrong. In “The Lottery” the people know the right thing to do was stoning someone to death but they also knew it was wrong but everyone went along with it anyway. The people only start to disagree with it when it’s someone they care about who is being killed then they complained but yet they still didn’t even try to stop it. It’s a problem in the world today that when something is being done that is wrong no one tries to stop it everyone just pretends it not happening which is what Mr. Wiesel is trying to point out is him speech and is what is happening in “The Lottery”.

Debate (top 20 blogs)
I really use to like debating. I thought I was really good at it. I swear i would debate like all the time with my friends about things like why people shouldnt do drugs, or why going to school is a good thing. There is a lot you can debate about. Everything is debatible you just have to get someone who doesnt think the same about something as you do because if they do you dont have anything to debate about because your just going to agree on everything.

What I think we should blog about.
I think that we should blog about anything that we feel is alright for others to know. Its hard to say really since I am the type of person that will talk on one thing but I may change my mind on it a bit later. There are a few things that I think should not be said if people comment on others blogs. Like if you are to talk about how you feel about one thing and someone was to jugbe you on that its not right but than again if you dont want people to say anything on it dont right about it. But over all I dont know what to say because I don't know what to really wright about.
Top 3 reason why I believe in life after death.
1. Its just a person thats always there when you need them to be. Even if you dont see them they are still watching you and helping you out.
2. The dead is always reborn. They just dont remember their past life.
3. When we were younger we were told not to believe in life after death because someone people are afraid to find out what they may have been in the past.
The reason that I picked this topic is because of my dad, my grandparents, my auntie, and my best friend that have all past. I know that they are all still with me watching over me leading me in the right path. And with my 3rd reason my cuzin was telling my auntie a story about his past life and how he had this ship and how big it was and everything like that. And it happened to be in a book. My auntie told him it was stupid and that he was just making everything up and that he must have read the book at one point in time and just didnt remember it. But he did it was really what he was in his past life. Never give up on what you truely believe because you never know if its really true or not till you find out the facts. But life after death is a really big thing in my family. I still think that my grandpa is with me everyday when I need him most. I still think that Jordan is with me and everyone else that knows him leading us in the right path telling us that fighting isnt the answer that drinking and driving leads to stupid things. That you dont know what your missing till its gone. Your always going to need that person after they are gone so thats why they stay around. Even if they are reborn they are still with you. There is a reason for the people you meet in your life they are those who have past those who are your loved ones coming to you in a different from but they dont fully remember you. Or they have never meet you but they know something about you. So I feel that when i get older and have kids I am not going to call the stupid or anything or put down anything they say to me because you never know. They could be speaking of who they use to be in their past lives so just listen to your kids when they are talking even when they are younger and like to tell stories.

Superpowers.
What if you never thought about having a superpower before? Is it really that great to have something that others may not have? I have never thought about having superpower well that I can remember. It would be kind of cool now that I think about it. It would sweet to be able to read peoples minds, because there is so much that I would like to know like what people really think of some people. And like if people are really ture to themselves and to others. I think reading peoples minds would be neat even more so if you could read animals minds to. I have always wanted to know what an animal is thinking. Like when your walking your dog or when you let your cat out or something else like that. What do they think wouldn't you want to know too? Wouldn't you like to know what others really think of you? There is also downsides to being able to read minds. Because they be a few things that you don't want to know like what they are thinking about other people and you know that it may hurt the person if it was ever said but you want to tell them because you think its the right thing to do. So you do't and you know what the truth is about what people think about others and it pretty much eats away at you. So really when you think about having a superpower think really hard on what you really want because either way there is going to be to sides to it a good side and a bad side.
